Hi guys! This is a story I've been writing on my two characters, Indigodusk and Hazel. Tell me if you like it!
A dark shadow glided fluidly through the gloomy shadows of the stables. The shade seemed to have a feminine, feline shape to it. Two iridescent, golden eyes glared out of the darkness, bobbing up and down as the cat moved, like two dancing fireflies. The dim light outlined the cat's form, revealing a skinny, but sleek, figure. The details were indecipherable, though, accept for those foreboding yellow eyes. The eyes held a history, a story full of pain, envy, and suffering. A story that would never had been told, if it weren't for him...

Chapter One The dark grey tom padded quietly through the dense forest, the snow crunching damply under his white paws. His darkly banded tail swayed in the cold air, the lighter grey stripes gleaming like silver in the weak leaf-bare sunlight. The same stripes crept up his back, ending right at the crook of his neck. His chest and belly fur would've blended nicely with the pure snow around him.
The tom's brilliant blue eyes locked on a rare squirrel in the snow, nibbling on a scrawny acorn. He grinned, lowering himself into a hunter's crouch. This squirrel could feed a couple kits back at camp... The tom began to stalk forward with a deadly grace about him as he snuck up on the unsuspecting prey. As he was about to pounce, his paw landed on a brittle twig, hidden by the snow. It cracked, it's sound explosive in the silent forest. The squirrel shot up, skittering away into the brambles. "Ugh!" The tom straightened, licking his ruffled chest fur a couple times. I almost had it! Stupid twig... "Indigodusk!" A voice called from the trees to his right.
Indigodusk turned, recognizing his Clanmate's voice.
"Rosedrop?" A light brown she-cat pushed her way through a clump of frosty brambles into the clearing. Her dark brown paws crunched on frozen earth, and her thin tail flicked off a burr as she shook herself off. "Where have you been? We've started to worry about you." Indigodusk blinked, realizing that he had lost track of time. "Let me go back and get my catch, ok? I buried it back there." Indigodusk gestured towards the line of pawprints he had left in the snow. "Okay." Rosedrop watched him pad away, her brilliant green eyes glimmering. He came back, a scrawny crow and a vole in his jaws. "Why are you staring at me like that?" His voice was muffled through the fur and feathers. "Oh! Umm....N-No reason." The she-cat flushed under her fur. Indigodusk smirked. "C'mon. Back to camp we go..." They scampered through the brambles again, leaving the forest tranquil and silent.
Prologue
A glowing leaf-bare moon hung on the crest of the horizon, casting deep shadows on the farmyard. The barn was a strange grey in the waning moonlight, and the stables were dense in the darkness. The clearing was encroached with grass and weeds, for the barnyard had been neglected and abandoned for some time. No Twolegs had walked these paths for a long time now. The area was left to the animals.A dark shadow glided fluidly through the gloomy shadows of the stables. The shade seemed to have a feminine, feline shape to it.
